ARSONISTS are today being blamed for starting a fire in a bin which spread to a nearby house.
Fire chiefs say that a wheelie bin in Queens Walk, in Fletton, Peterborough, was set alight on Sunday morning, but flames quickly took hold of a garage and the rear of house. The fire was put out before too much damage was caused. The blaze follows a spate of similar incidents in the Sheepwalk and Crabtree areas of Paston in recent weeks.A fire service spokesperson said: “The person who started this fire, put the lives of those inside the home at serious risk.” Anyone with information on this incident should call Cambridgeshire police on 0845 456 4564.nFor further advice and information about arson and how to prevent yourself becoming a victim, visit www.cambsfire.gov.

Last year i was reading about all the problems that people where having with there wheelie bins. It started with the public compling to he council that they hated the sight of they wheelie bins. Then there was very bad news in the press wear someone died do to someone putting a wheelie bin in front of a door and setting fire to it. This made me think what can i do to help with the problem, as you can see with the photo on the blog.
